FILL THIS! :: march 2005

sorry we're late (again), but welcome to the fifth installment of fk's very own FILL THIS!
there were some nice FILLs in february by PAlexC, EVPohovich, mandissected, NJP3, ViRGo_RK, mentuat, monkeysquid, Happy Pixel, donkeyhunter - wow, best month ever. and even GERBS came by. are we now calling ondraedan and fearless to arms?...you bet!

same rules as last time:

- use the served image to create something new, using some portion of the original.
- keep same dimensions (500x400), and orientation (portrait).
- each return is standalone - build off the original, not the last return.
- post once, twice, thrice, or as often as you like...have fun!

this stock is a little different, but so cool that it gave me tons of ideas:

and remember kids, always wear your safety goggles...

if it weren't for the damn time-outs here at FK, I'd have replaced it sooner!

Anyway, changed mine to the 400x500 pixel ratio per the rules.

yasunobu, one of the coolest simple volleys i've seen in a while... alot of the time to much white space can make it look a bit bare but yours was executed well.

and can't go without giving gerbs a mention, killer volley. your attention to detail amazes me.

Gerbs, how did you create that 'sunburst' effect in the background? If you got a tutorial link, or somehting, i've always wanted to try something like that.

I'm so glad we have the whole month do get this image done, because, what i'm trying to do will probably take that long (unless I give up!)
