    Themed Photography :: Week 2 :: Transport

Wow.....the first Themed Photography was so great. We had awsome submissions by david petley, tonytryout, mentuat, ctranter, clicky2, flashpenguin, Happy Pixel, nordberg, gerbick, and littleMatt. That's on heck of a list, and great pictures by all.

Now, let's make this week a little tougher. As asheep_uk suggested, this weeks theme will be "Transport". So let's see thos photos of your car, your trip to work, your workmates banged up old rustbucket, anything to do with transportation and you. If it is not yours, then you must have a direct connection with it or the person who owns it.

    As before, the Ru|3z:
    • This is NOT a PhotoShop battle it is a photography battle. Only slightly touched up photos may be submitted.
    • Let's keep the file and image size under FK guidelines (under 700 px wide).
    • All photographs must be related to the current weekly theme.
    • Photographs must be taken by the idividual posting (no stealing photos).
    • Use any camera (ie. cellphone, point-and-shoot, disposable) just submit!
    • Multiple submission are welcomed.
    • Photos must be no more than a week old. Take some NEW pictures people!

Get creative.....I have some great ideas for themes, and we have some extremely inspiring contributers in this series.

Note: All images and/or photographs posted in this thread are the private property of the individual posting. No rights are given to anyone viewing this post. Use of any image posted in this thread is illegal and punishable by law, unless express permission is given by the photographer.

These are from a recent trip to London. Both taken with my PDA (Sony Clie PEG-TJ37).

    I have a thing for double-decker buses.

Taken from the top deck of a double-decker in motion (hence the blurry pic.)

    Nice pictures guys....

I took these on my way to work this morning, while driving. Nothing spectacular, just me playing.

A little speed never hurt anyone.

All the traffic up here drives me crazy.

...and the ugly car of the morning....

despite the fact that 83% of these photos are out of focus, i like the images so far!

i still love this format EVP - very cool way to see into each others lives.

Ah, these boys is all swelled up. So this was earlier...getting set to trade. Then, woooaaah differences.

i'm just bustin' your chops - images don't have to be in focus to be cool!

i have been dragging my camera everywhere this week, but have not been transportationally inspired.
    i'll post soon, don't worry...

and, most of my camera thought energy has been put towards how i can sell my digital rebel and buy a D20...

Just shell out and buy the 20D and then post your Rebel on eBay.com. Sell some of that $12.00 company stock.......that'll work. What do you think, about 125 shares worth ought to cover it?

I took this a couple days ago for this, but thought it was crap and never put it up... I've worked up the courage now, apparently.

    It's still crap.

I like it. I like that the floor isn't flat, and the shoes show a little wear. I also like how the placement of thelaces add to the depth of the photo. Good composition IMHO.

are you telling us that you walk everywhere you go?? maybe THAT's what you were afraid of....?

Lol, well, I've picked up running recently, but long distances I do drive. I swear.

I just didn't like me image because the top left ground has too much sunlight hitting it. Then again, I'm my biggest critic.

    Egads!!!

Now that brings back some memories. Is that Knoy Hall in the background? If not, it has to be somewhere around there.

spent half my life in that freakin' building

Really quite miserable weather at the moment, so no great photos, but this is my view waiting for the bus to come home. I usually walk, but today - I don't think so.
