I didn't say summer was the idea. I was saying it's summer in the northern hemisphere, and thus it means that people are taking more vacations, what not.

I would love to try and get back into the "still" graphics work and I think this is the oppurtunity.
I'm down.
I've been so busy (moving sucks and so does rebooting your system and progs on TWO comps =p) I haven't had time to contribute to the best damn arena around.
But enough with excuses, Show me some rules (sizes and the like) and my 6b's and comps are yours. Fear. ;P

About the theme... that's not been settled, or even discussed yet. I'm seriously in the mood for a theme based contest, but one that might be a bit more freestyle than most.

read: I might allow you guys to set your own theme, but you have to follow an uniform size. I have the weird idea to have it where your theme is just limited to one word, and just one word. For instance, last month's theme (one of the two) was "Vintage"... well now it's up to the artist to find a word that they want to create an image to, whatever under the sun that you wish. But just one word, and a 640x480 canvas.

What you guys think? I'm just throwing out ideas.

nice idea, and a good way to take the weight off your own shoulders by letting us do our own thing instead of u thinking of an idea then people saying its a crap theme etc... gerbick, u sly dog!

So nice I just wanted to walk outside a while and a damn storm arrived.... Due to my short size, I ended up using a can as a boat to reach my house

Anyway, I think this is a cool idea/theme for the monthly contest
