Okay guys, heres the rules:
- Dimensions must stay the same-1280x1024
- No rotating or flipping
- Volley must cotain atleast one element from the previous one
- Before you volley say something like "I'm going next" so there is no confusion
Sound good?

good question!
Could you make a circle with the circle selection tool, stroke it the delete all the parts you don't want until you gewt desired curve? And then free transform it change it to how you want?
Man that is a really bum way of doing it but hey.

You can make a durve with the path tool. Then just put an outer glow on it. Never tried it, but it should work.

I never used paths or the pen tool before.
I need help.

That sounds so weird coming from you.
You can do the circle tool stroke thing that you said, but that might give it a weird finish.

i thought the same thing... over 1000 posts without a pen tool lol. He must be more into code or something...

more into talking, more like it
best way to make a curved line it switch to the paths palette, create a new path. then using the pen tool, click one spot, then move the mouse, and hold your click... a slight drag of the mouse will produce a curve. just like bezier curves like in flash or illustrator.
you can use the path tools to move or alter the points. after you do so, in the path palette, you can stroke the path.
alternatively, you can use larger ovals, and stroke them. duplicate the stroked path, and gaussian blur - around 1.7 - the duplicate under the original to get that "glow"... personally, I hate using layer styles such as drop shadow and outer glow because of the perceived lack of control.
ok, I'm just ol' school.
there's a few ways of doing it virgo. less chat, more read kiddo.

I don't think post count is a very accurate way of determining skill, I think I'm living proof

Dammit! I have to back out, guys. Sorry to let you down again. It seems that every time I sit down to start an image, tons of work comes in or Personal life goes to hell instantly.
Once again, I'm sorry
P.s. - Perhaps I'll try later in the battle....

Since virgo had to back out, I suppose I'll go next..
this is my first venture into The Arena, hope I did it right (I assume by No Rotating, you mean no rotating the piece used from the previous image?)

hey leet, nice incorporation of the previous volley. rotation means rotating the canvas. but I like how you worked that.
welcome to the arena, too, btw...
